Michel Fournier, Level Extreme Inc.   Michel Fournier is the owner of Level Extreme, designer of the renowned Universal Thread. He specializes in using Visual FoxPro and .NET as Internet resources as well as the development of Visual FoxPro desktop applications. His expertise has been used in feasibility study, prototyping, analysis, development, training, development team integration, standards implementation and testing. His consulting services have been given to clients in Montreal, Toronto, Quebec, Bathurst, Moncton and the United States. In the last years, he has given various training and consulting related to Internet and Visual FoxPro for user groups and companies while having published various articles for different sources. You will find the biggest Internet product achievement he has done by accessing the Universal Thread. He has been using Visual FoxPro since 1988 and .NET since 2002. He has been a Microsoft MVP in 1997, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007.

As of today, the Universal Thread subscription, known as the Premier Universal Thread Membership, decreases to 9.95$ CAD per month. After several years at the same rate, Level Extreme has decided to decrease the subscription rate by about 30%. The decision came after 18 months of international taxation, as ruled by the Canadian Government on Level Extreme on January 2004. While this case is still in appeal, this should ease the process of subscription purchases by Level Extreme subscribers.

Thus, as of today, a member can subscribe to the Universal Thread at 14.95$ CAD for the first month (previously 17.00$) and enable an automatic renewal at 9.95$ (previously 12.95$) for all upcoming months. The annual subscription also decreased from 142.00$ to 99.95$.

By using the auto renewal option, members do not have to worry about renewing their subscription as it will be done automatically on a monthly basis. When an automatic renewal is done, an invoice is still created in the members profile. Assuming a failure during the payment, members will be notified by email.

The corporate rates have also been adjusted. Members having a subscription which is part of a corporate membership may continue to benefit of the same structure, thus having the prime contact to renew the corporate membership when time comes. The corporate membership provides special rates for companies in regards to the number of developers they need to register.
