Detroit Area Fox User Group (DAFUG) presents: "SQL Server - Application Roles and Connection Management" By Steve Sawyer, Geeks and Gurus, Inc. Thursday January 8, 2004 - Auditorium 6:00 PM Royal Oak Public Library - Steve is going to present how Visual FoxPro developers can take advantage of SQL Server application roles and better handle connection management. Steve will be demonstrating a number of SQL Server tools in this regard including Enterprise Manager, Query Analyzer and Profiler. Bring your questions. - Anything else people want to talk about. The Royal Oak Public Library is located one mile west of I-75, one mile east of Woodward Avenue, and one mile north of I-696. Free parking is available in the Farmers Market lot just east of us across Troy Street. Metered parking is available in the city lot just to the west of us. 222 East Eleven Mile Rd. Royal Oak, Michigan 48067 Admission to DAFUG meetings will be granted free to anyone for 1 (one) meeting. After that you must either join the group (at the low cost of $30 a year, $15 for a half year) or you will be asked to pay $5 per meeting you attend. User group history/membership rate/objectives:All meetings start at 6:00 and finish approximately 8:00pm

Meetings are typically followed by food, Visual FoxPro, and developer discussion at a local restaurant.

Open discussion and the other normal chatter of tips and tricks are welcome at all meetings.
