A leading medical collections and billing agency contracted by many of the metropolitan area’s largest and most prestigious hospitals has an immediate opening for a full-time SQL Server developer with a strong background in Visual Foxpro to join its developers team. First phase of this project is to migrate the current database to SQL Server back-end; the second phase will be to use C#/ASP.net as a front end for the project.
The ideal candidate should have the following skills:
SQL Server 2005/2008
Very strong communication skills
Object oriented programming experience
Develop stored procedures, triggers, functions and views
Ability to use DTS/SSIS packages for DTS functions
Assist in database modeling efforts.
Assist with application performance and query tuning.
At least two to three years of database design, programming, and maintenance experience; experience working with relational data modeling and data warehousing is helpful. Experience programming in MS SQL Server (2005 and 2008),Transact-SQL.
Formal training in Microsoft SQL
Visual FoxPro background is a strong plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to meet deadlines for multiple tasks and projects
Ability to work well on individual tasks as well as working in a team environment
Create export files from SQL environment
Other duties as assigned
