Personality of the Year

The Universal Thread Personality of the Year is a recognition for the effort given by individuals on the Universal Thread. This relates to the recognition of the effort which took place during the year which could be in regards to various aspects that anyone from the community would judge valid for such a recognition.

Anyone from the community is able to make his/her nominations. A maximum of three nominations is effective per member. This is a yearly activity which takes place at the beginning of each December. The Personality of the Year is announced at the beginning of January.

Sergey Berezniker
Sergey Berezniker has extensive experience in designing database applications using FoxPro, Visual FoxPro and SQL Server. He is a Microsoft Visual FoxPro MVP since October 2001. He has been voted as the Universal Thread Personality of the Year 2002 - 2007.

Cetin Basoz
�etin is Engineerica's lead developer and also administering "Institute of Marine Sciences and Technology-Izmir" computer division. He specializes in using Visual FoxPro, .NET and SQL server. He is using Foxbase, Foxpro and Visual FoxPro since 80's, .NET since 2004. He has been a Microsoft MVP in 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005. His expertise has been used in prototyping, development, training and testing. Though �etin is well known for his programming skills, very few people know that he is also a licensed Medical Doctor. After practicing medicine for about ten years �etin switched careers and went to his true passion - software programming.

Hilmar Zonneveld, Independent Consultant
Hilmar Zonneveld works in programming since 1986, using dBASE, FoxPro and Visual FoxPro. He is available as an independent consultant. He currently works as a programmer at Bata Shoe Organization; also as an instructor at Cisco Networking Academy. Bonnie Berent, Tiburon, Inc.
Bonnie Berent is currently a Senior Software Developer for Tiburon, Inc. and has been writing software in various languages for around 20 years. Bonnie's current focus on C# .NET applications began in early 2002. She is a Microsoft C# MVP and an active member of the .NET online community.

Kevin Goff

Borislav Borissov, Microcomplex
He enjoys a successful career in Payroll, HR and Time and Attendance software as well as a custom business and commercial software developer putting together all of his talents: analysis, database design and optimization, software development and implementation. His efforts are devoted in software building, that is easy to understand, learn and deal with, using Visual FoxPro (ver 5 to 9), C++, SQL Server. He is a manager and a senior programmer at Microcomplex Int., a gold medal awarded company on a Bulgarian software exhibition and trade show.
