Michel Fournier, Level Extreme Inc.   Michel Fournier is the owner of Level Extreme, designer of the renowned Universal Thread. He specializes in using Visual FoxPro and .NET as Internet resources as well as the development of Visual FoxPro desktop applications. His expertise has been used in feasibility study, prototyping, analysis, development, training, development team integration, standards implementation and testing. His consulting services have been given to clients in Montreal, Toronto, Quebec, Bathurst, Moncton and the United States. In the last years, he has given various training and consulting related to Internet and Visual FoxPro for user groups and companies while having published various articles for different sources. You will find the biggest Internet product achievement he has done by accessing the Universal Thread. He has been using Visual FoxPro since 1988 and .NET since 2002. He has been a Microsoft MVP in 1997, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007.

Level Extreme releases both of its magazines as part of its line of free services on the Universal Thread. Thus, as of today, the Level Extreme .NET Magazine and the Universal Thread Magazine are available for the entire community without the need to subscribe. Both magazines provide dedicated content for their respective targeted technologies (.NET and Visual FoxPro respectively). The decision came following the desire to reach a bigger audience and contribute as much as possible to the developers community.

Any prior issues become available to all members. The only thing required is to have a Universal Thread account. Former subscribers have their account set to continue to receive the monthly email notifications for each release. This setting can adjusted from the account setup under the Settings section.

Level Extreme especially expresses its gratitude to all former subscribers for their support, contribution and participation in the magazines in the last few years. Subscribers played an important role in the evolution of both magazines. Without their economic support we couldn't have arrived to this point. The whole community should thank them as this is a collective achievement.

As usual, writers are welcome to submit articles proposals to the magazine editors, Michel Fournier and Martín Salías, as well as feedback and suggestions. Authors will now enjoy a greater reach and make a more important impact in the developer community worldwide.
